Just a little thought that crossed my mind today: what if my mom had been one of those parents that didn’t just care about their daughter’s academic superiority over other children? If that was the case, then would she have supported my decision to pursue art…? Instead, she pushed me into a public school expecting me to become another run of the mill office junkies when I grow up.
